Our story
Finding the right place to live or vacation should be easier.
Everyone says "location, location, location"... Yet home seekers are still left alone when choosing the right location. Where is it quiet? Where is it green? Where do children feel comfortable, and which neighborhood fits us?
During our own apartment search, Google or real estate platforms were only partly helpful. We wanted more information about the location than the listing text provided. But without the address of the building (which applies to 95% of listings), we could not research it properly.
We believe this can be better. After many conversations with home seekers and real estate experts, we concluded that precise micro-location information integrated into online listings helps everyone:
- Home seekers can see at a glance whether a location is right for them.
- Real estate platforms benefit from higher user satisfaction and from keeping home seekers on the platform, which supports conversion.
- Landlords and brokers get qualified leads and fewer "viewing tourists": informed prospects are more likely to attend viewings, know the neighborhood fits them, and decide for the property more often.
With that conviction we developed our first location indicator: ambient noise. A current, detailed, high-resolution analysis of noise exposure on the front and back of a building - unique in Europe. The result is available via API and can be integrated quickly into broker or platform systems. Thanks to machine learning and user feedback, we continuously improve the results.
Today we can calculate nearly all key information for any residential location. Our vision? That no question from home seekers or vacationers remains unanswered - everywhere. With the goal that everyone finds the location that fits them.

Florian was a management consultant and Global Product Manager at E.ON. He founded GeoSci GmbH and focuses on company strategy and product development. In his free time he is an avid windsurfer.
Lena is shaped by her time at Zalando and multiple startup technology leadership roles. At GeoSci she serves as CTO. As a passionate paraglider she is often found in the air.
Thorsten is a PhD mathematician and geodata scientist. He ensures algorithms and infrastructure run efficiently and reliably. Thorsten is an enthusiastic tinkerer and spends his free time at Hackerspace Konstanz.
Frauke is a JVM expert and feels at home in both enterprise and startup environments. Her passion is databases, especially optimizing SQL. Away from the keyboard she stays active, for example cycling to Flo's home office or practicing kendo.
